Who Am I?
Hi, I’m Steve.
My journey into Functional Medicine began with my own struggle with gut health.
In my twenties, despite working in the fitness and nutrition world, I was dealing with severe fatigue, low mood, digestive problems, and a complete loss of the energy I expected to have at that age.
Repeated visits to my GP left me feeling dismissed, told that everything was normal when I knew it was not.
It was only when I discovered Functional Medicine that I finally uncovered the root causes: chronic gut infections, hormone disruption, and a stress system that had completely burned out.
With the right support, I rebuilt my health over six months and felt like myself again for the first time in years. That experience changed the direction of my life and is the reason I now dedicate my work to helping others find the answers I struggled so long to receive.
Addressing the underlying causes is a passion of mine, and central to that is optimising digestive health in my clients.
